Middle Truckee River Watershed Forest Partnership
Working together to improve and protect the resilience of the Middle Truckee River Watershed through collaboration and active response. Our initiative is to address forest health, community and ecological needs of the Truckee and Sierraville Districts of the Tahoe National Forest within and surrounding the Middle Truckee River Watershed.

Priority Areas
Our objectives are to protect and restore forest resilience, water security, biodiversity and healthy fire dynamics.
Various technologies, such as Land Conservation Forecast, U.S. Forest Service Models and the Middle Truckee River Watershed Forest Health Assessment, are used to determine priority restoration and fuel reduction areas.
